Contact form

When you send a message, we keep your name, e-mail, subject, message, date and the IP address it was sent from. We use this data only to answer you and to prevent automated submissions (bots). The message is also e-mailed to the Avelã team. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for advertising.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our publications, we keep your e-mail, name (if provided), language, IP address and the dates of subscription and confirmation. The subscription only takes effect after you confirm it through the link sent to your e-mail. Every e-mail includes an unsubscribe link; once you unsubscribe, you stop receiving them immediately.

Cookies

The site uses only one session cookie, needed for the forms to work securely and for the restricted area. It is deleted when you close the browser. We do not use advertising, social media or visitor-tracking cookies.

Some preferences are stored only in your browser (they are not sent to us): text size, high contrast and whether you have read the cookie notice.

Third-party services loaded on the pages

• Google Fonts: the site's typefaces. Your browser downloads the font files from Google's servers.
• VLibras (Brazilian Federal Government): the translator into Libras (Brazilian Sign Language), in the blue button at the corner of the screen.

The subscriber systems (Observatório da Saúde Animal, Regulatory Dashboard, SINDAN, CNPJ Search and Observatório COMEX) have their own login and process each subscriber's account data to provide access.

How long we keep data

Form messages are kept while needed to answer you and are deleted on request. Newsletter data is kept while the subscription is active. Site backups are kept for up to 14 days.

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to confirm whether we process your data, and to access, correct or delete it, by writing to contato@observatorio.com.br.
